After 3.3 years, finally! I have a neighbor across the street! No more dead views. There'll be lights! Maybe even a plant or two to sweeten the view. Yay.
Now if I could just get the house w/ the crumbling facade (beside my new neighbor) to be rehabbed or bulldozed.

Indeed, I finally amassed and arranged furniture in my living room...except for two lounge chairs I have to get reupholstered. I aim to post "meantime" pics by next Tuesday. I can already tell you that the trick to placement is:
a. Avoid long sofas (anything over 70 inches in length is probably a no-go).
b. Find a pair of loveseats or lounge chairs.
c. If you have a fireplace, flank it with a loveseat or a pair of lounge chairs on either side.
d. I have some other ideas if you can tell me how your floor plan is situated.
